Waterway Constructions is committed to safety at all levels of the company and our Safety and Systems Manager oversees the implementation and monitoring of safety procedures.
Safety Committee's operate locally to provide a consultative forum to review safety processes so as to achieve the continual improvement of safety management in the workplace.
This consultative process has lead to the development of the Waterway Construction's Safety Charter which details a range of commitments with respect to safety management.
All Waterway Constructions supervisors have received specific OH&S training resulting in the company achieving a high level of workplace safety.
Waterway Constructions has also undertaken an extensive survey of the safety culture across the company and has conducted safety observation training for all staff and advanced hazard awareness training for managers and supervisors.
