Waterway Constructions has undertaken a number of significant bridge projects involving both the installation of new piles into existing bridges, construction of new bridge piers and the replacement of bridge spans. In addition, Waterway Constructions has the capability to repair older style timber bridge structures through its strong skill base in bridge and wharf carpentry.
Stingray Creek Bridge Replacement

The Stingray Creek Bridge Replacement project is located on Ocean Drive between North Haven and Laurieton in the Port Macquarie-Hastings local government area. This project involves the replacement of the Stingray Creek Bridge including the demolition of the existing bridge. The replacement bridge consists of a new 190m long, 15m wide, two lane single carriageway with pedestrian and bike lanes crossing Stingray Creek just upstream of the existing bridge.

Installation of 64 vertical and raking 790mm piles for 6 pile caps with piles vibrated and/or driven into the sandstone. Pile caps were constructed as pre-cast shells with insitu concrete infill.
