Stingray Creek Bridge Replacement

The Stingray Creek Bridge Replacement project is located on Ocean Drive between North Haven and Laurieton in the Port Macquarie-Hastings local government area. This project involves the replacement of the Stingray Creek Bridge including the demolition of the existing bridge. The replacement bridge consists of a new 190m long, 15m wide, two lane single carriageway with pedestrian and bike lanes crossing Stingray Creek just upstream of the existing bridge.

Works also include new road approaches on either side of the bridge on Ocean Drive. The new bridge is designed on a curvilinear alignment to suit the site constraints and the local road network.

 Scope included supply and installation of:

  • 12 x 1500mm diameter cast in situ steel piles and 12 x 1370mm diameter reinforced concrete columns
  • 10 x 900mm diameter cast in situ steel piles
  • 49 x 1200mm deep Super Ts
  • 200mm thick reinforced concrete deck slab
