The work required the construction of a new concrete berthing dolphin in open sea conditions using piling equipment mounted on the existing jetty head.

Design and construction of new fender system installed whilst berthing operations were maintained.

Construction of a new pontoon wharf on the western side of Goat Island including steel tube fender and restraint piles, aluminium access ramp, services and adjacent wharf repairs.

Refurbishment comprising the full replacement and partial replacement of a total of 40 timber piles, replacement of timber substructure elements and a range of pile

Installation of 900mm and 1200mm steel bridge pier piles using either vibration and driving together with down-the-hole hammer including concrete plugs.

Construction of an extension to the existing Berth 105 terminal to accommodate quarter ramp vessels and provide moorings for bulk carriers on the adjacent Berth 104.

The scope of works consisted of demolition of existing deck & foundations, construction of new concrete deck on 48 driven steel piles and supply and installation of the timber decking.

Construction of a 420 sqm timber boardwalk supported on of 42 no. 355mm steel piles.
