Construction of a 265m bulk liquids wharf including longshore support of existing sheet piled seawall and dredging of the berth pocket to support a maximum design vessel of 245m x 43m x 13.5m

Range of plant and equipment including Kochi crane barge, Sennebogan 6100HD (utilised from Keller sister company, Austral), DOP 250 damen dredge pump, IHC S-280 Hydrohammer (45t)

The conforming design is based on an anchored and backfilled combi-wall utilising 1400mm diameter tubes and dredging and disposal of 150,000m3 of material from the berth pocket.

Project involves the following work that is relevant for bridge prequalification:

  • Piling from barges & Land (includes submerged piling)
  • 142 no. 1400mm dia king piles with over 280 AZ 18-700s infill between
  • 51 x 275m x 14m deep berth pocket
  • 16 x SCN 1300 Fenders, 6 x 100t Quick Release Hooks and 8 x 150t bollards
  • Reinforced concrete structures
