James Ruse Drive Bridge, Parramatta Fenders

Client: Roads & Maritime Services
Capabilities: Piling, Bridges
Region: Sydney (New South Wales)
Completed: August 1998

Design and construction of two 35m long fender structures to protect piers 2 & 3 at the James Ruse Drive bridge over the Parramatta River.

The fender structures are each supported on 5 x 600 diameter steel tube piles socketed 2.5m (min) into rock and consist of a structural steel frame with timber buffer facing.
